The European Union has allocated EUR 104 million for the implementation of programs to improve the energy efficiency of Ukraine’s housing stock. This was stated by the coordinator of the energy sector of the EU Delegation in Ukraine, Olha Borodankova, European Truth reports.

“As part of the implementation of an energy efficiency program in residential buildings, the European Union has allocated EUR 104 million. Today, this is the largest amount of existing programs being implemented by the European Union in Ukraine, which indicates how open the EU is to providing assistance to Ukraine,” Borodankova said.

Borodankova also noted that the EU is ready to assist Ukrainian people who are willing to change their consumer habits toward the introduction of energy-efficient measures.

As The Journalist reported, UN will not change policy on Golan Heights.
