Financial Times introduced Kyiv and Lviv in the top 10 most cost-effective cities

The Financial Times publication – FDI Magazine has placed the capital of Ukraine and the city of Lviv in the ranking of ten cities with high economic efficiency Smart Locations of the Future 2019/20. This was announced by Finance Minister Oksana Markarova on her Facebook page.

The report notes that Kyiv took fifth place, and Lviv – eighth.

“The main factors that influenced such high places in the rating: attractive rates for renting office and industrial premises, low cost of living in good hotels in the center, an acceptable level of taxes, low cost of starting a business, property registration and, most importantly, affordable qualified labor!”, Markarova noted.

In turn, the first place was occupied by the city of Skopje (Macedonia), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Kaunas (Lithuania) took the second and third places, and the fourth place went to Gdansk (Poland).

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that Kyiv was among the top 10 cities in the world in terms of return on investment.
