By the end of the first quarter, the state-owned bank Ukrgasbank (UAH 50.1 billion) rose to the first step in the ranking of banks in terms of the volume of attracted business funds, whereas at the beginning of the year it occupied the third place.

At the same time, Ukreximbank retained the second position (48.5 billion UAH), and PrivatBank (43 billion UAH) moved into third place, whereas at the beginning of the year it was the first.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, in the first three months, Ukrgasbank became the leader in terms of growth in the deposit portfolio of business entities (+ 14.1%). Behind him with a significant lag went Credit Agricole Bank (+ 8.7%) and Ukreximbank (+ 2.7%).
It is also noted that in January-March, PrivatBank (-9.3%), Raiffeisen Bank Aval (-9.4%) and UkrSibbank (-12.3%) lost most of all business funds.
As reported by “Journalist”, last year PrivatBank received a record profit.
