French firefighters put out the Notre Dame fire

Nearly 400 firefighters from Paris extinguished strong fire that broke out in the Cathedral building on April 15. One of the rescuers suffered, Le Figaro informs.

It took about 9 hours to put out the Notre Dame fire.

Rescuers saved the cathedral structure from complete destruction, as well as the relics of the Crown of Thorns and part of the True Cross.

As The Journalist reported, fire has engulfed the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
