Georgia’s ruling party wins parliamentary elections

The ruling Georgian Dream party received 48.15% of the vote in the parliamentary elections. This was announced by the country’s CEC following the processing of all ballots.

The Opposition Union “Strength in Unity” received 27.14% of the vote.

The parliamentary elections were held in Georgia on October 31. Representatives of opposition parties have previously stated their disagreement with the election results. Shortly before the end of the counting of votes, the opposition gathered for a rally.
