Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that the case of murders on the Maidan will go to the defense and the court immediately after the decision of Verkhovna Rada to extend the procedure of absentee voting in absentia.

“GPU this year actually completed the investigation against those who gave criminal orders that led to killings and injuries on Maidan. Commission of Experts and Attracted Specialists, on the basis of 988 volumes of investigation materials, concluded that the death and injury of participants in peaceful rallies on Maidan is in a direct causal relationship with decisions and actions of ex-President Yanukovich, ex-head of SBU Yakimenko and his subordinates Totskiy, Shchegolev, former Interior Minister Zakharchenko and his subordinates Shulyak, Konoplyanik, Mikolenko, Defense Minister Lebedev, ex-Chief of the General Staff Zamany,” wrote the Attorney General on Facebook page.

“As Prosecutor General, I guarantee that this most important matter of modern Ukraine will go to acquaint the defense and the court immediately after the decision of Verkhovna Rada to extend the procedure of absenteeism,” Lutsenko said.
