NATO member states approved Macedonia accession protocol

Ambassadors of NATO countries approved the protocol on the accession of Macedonia. About this reports Euractiv.

Now the ambassadors of the NATO member states are waiting for permission of their countries to sign the protocol.
After signing the protocol, it will be sent to the national parliaments of the member states, each of which must ratify the document.
A NATO spokesman said this week that the date of signing Macedonia accession protocol will be determined “in coming days.”
