The Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated that he saw no point in creating a two-chamber parliament in Ukraine. The same viewpoint was expressed by the head of the Sluga narody (Servant of the People) party, Dmytro Razumkov, as“1 + 1” TV channel reports.

“The today’s form of the parliament is not efficient and people understand it … It would be absolutely reasonable to reduce the number of the people’s deputies, rather than introduce a second chamber to have 800 deputies instead of 450”, Groisman said.

Meanwhile, Razumkov, in his answer to whether he supports the idea of a bicameral parliament, said: “I am for the existing form of the parliament.”
