Opposition leader and interim president of Venezuela, Juan Guaido, stated that Russia and Cuba had illegally deployed their military to Venezuela, because their arrival was not approved by the country’s parliament. This is reported by the Argentine edition of Clarin.

Guaido noted that the president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, did not have the right to give permission for foreign military to be present in the country.

“Maduro gave permission to Russia and Cuban for illegal military intervention in Venezuela. But only the parliament can allow foreign military to arrive to the country,” said in a statement.

As The Journalist reported, US Treasury imposed sanctions against companies for trading Venezuelan oil.
