The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has created special monitoring groups that will check the provision of patients with medicines for the treatment of coronavirus in the regions, the use of funds for “covid packages” and the state of provision of hospitals with medicines.
According to Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mykychak, the minister personally keeps the situation under control.
“Taking into account individual requests from citizens claiming they have to buy medicines at their expense, the Ministry of Health sent mobile teams to the region to carry out monitoring visits to the hospital. These mobile teams will analyze the use of funds allocated from the state budget for the provision of medical care to patients with coronavirus disease and the provision of hospitals with medicines,” the Deputy Minister stressed.
