Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk noted that the government sets the task to build high-quality roads, which would connect all major cities and oblast centers of the country in the next 3-5 years. He stated this on the air of the “Right to Power” panel show.
The head of government noted the large-scale construction of Ukrainian roads scheduled for March 2020.
To Prime Minister, the heads of UkrAvtoDor and UkrTransBezpeky have already been replaced, since these bodies are key “for the quality of roads”.
Honcharuk called on the new head of UkrAvtoDor, Oleksandr Kubrakov, to change the leadership of the regional structures.
“I call on the new leaders of UkrAvtoDor and UkrTransBezpeky to renew the management in the oblasts as quickly as possible because I am convinced that the people who have worked there until now, represented the interests of the “beholders” or turned their blind eye to it,” the head of government said.
Honcharuk also noted that the government will not intervene in the tender procedures on searching contractors for roads construction.
