Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk has said that the government made sure that nothing threatens Ukraine’s power security in the near future. He stated this on the air of the 1 + 1 TV channel.
According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ukraine has enough supplies of coal and gas to survive 2019-2020 heating season.
“Ukraine is duly provided with gas, coal, all the necessary resources to survive this winter. This winter is absolutely not an issue because we took care and saw to it that nothing threatens Ukraine’s power security in the near future,” Honcharuk said.
The prime minister also added that the trilateral gas talks on the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine are ongoing.
