The allocated funds will be divided according to the number of medical institutions in the region and those children who are on long-term treatment. This was reported by the Minister of Education and Science Liliya Hrynevych, Ukrinform reports.
“For the first time, the government has sent a UAH 12 million subsidy to ensure educational process for children in hospitals. There is a joint order of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, which clearly describes this system. The education system provides the teachers, who working in the schools and assigned to the hospital, as well as study materials. The health care system should provide appropriate premises,” Hrynevych noted.
The Minister of Education also noted that parents of children must submit an application for their child to study in the hospital, and doctors must submit their permission.
As The Journalist reported, Hrynevych said that inclusive education will be available in kindergartens and colleges.
