Ukraine’s national currency at the official exchange rate since early January decreased by 5.7% against the U.S. dollar to UAH 25.03, the finance.ua reports.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, during this period, the hryvnia decreased by 4.7% to the euro, to UAH 27.66. The NBU believes that the hryvnia exchange rate can fluctuate both toward strengthening or maintained a four-year high. Experts predict that in February hryvnia FX will continue to drop.
