Hungary opens all checkpoints on border with Ukraine

Hungarian colleagues informed the State Border Service of Ukraine of their readiness to resume work of all checkpoints on the border with Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service reports.

In particular, from 1:00 a.m. of June 29, it is planned to restore four checkpoints in the Zakarpattia region, namely, Vylok – Tiszabecs (Vinogradovsky district); Luzhanka Beregsurany; Koson – Barabas; Zvonkovo – Lonyai (Beregovo district).

“At present, the Chop (Tisa) – Zahony checkpoint (Uzhhorod district) operates at the Ukrainian-Hungarian border,” SBGS said.

Recall that the government of Ukraine decided to resume the operation of all checkpoints on the border with the EU and Moldova on May 20, 2020.
