EU extends sanctions on Iran

The European Union imposed sanctions on two Iranian citizens, as well as one company over Iranian intelligence activity in EU member states. This is reported in the conclusions of the EU Council.

"The Council is deeply concerned by the hostile activities that Iranhas conducted on the territory of several Member States and, in this context, decided to list two individuals and one entity," the statement said.

Iran denies any involvement in planning or committing murder, stating that these allegations are intended to worsen relations between the EU and Iran.
