According to preliminary data, up to 12 Mirage combat aircraft of the Indian Air Force have entered the airspace of Pakistan. About this informs The Guardian.

Indian Foreign Minister Vijay Gohale said Delhi had received credible information that the Jaish-e-Mohammed militant group (JeM), which killed 40 Indian security personnel as a result of a suicide bombing earlier this month, was preparing militants for such attacks.

"In the face of imminent danger, a preemptive strike has become absolutely necessary," Gohale said.

These are the camps of the Jaishi-e-Mohammad group. Thus, it is India’s first air strike on Pakistan’s territory since 1971.

According to Garuf, the interception of Indian aircraft, which went no further than 3-4 miles deep into Pakistani airspace, was raised by aviation. In this regard, Indian fighters were forced to drop warheads earlier and change course. It is also reported that no one was injured on the territory of Pakistan.
