IOC allocates EUR 500,000 for Notre Dame Cathedral restoration

This statement was made by the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, Firstpost reports.

“All the Olympic movement and in particular the IOC with great regret understands the scale of the damage caused by the Notre Dame Cathedral fire. Our goal is to complete the reconstruction of the temple in time for Paris Olympic Games 2024. Therefore, the International Olympic Committee pledged EUR 500,000 for the restoration,” said Bach.

As The Journalist reported, Bernard Arno would allocate EUR 200 million for Notre Dame Cathedral restoration.
