Iryna Herashchenko, First Deputy Chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that the presence of Russian observers in international missions during the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine is impossible. She wrote about this on her Facebook page.

“There will be no Russian observers at our presidential and parliamentary elections in any international missions in Ukraine. It is our sovereign right to protect Ukraine from representatives of the aggressor country, from those who support the war in the Donbass and the theft of the Crimea … Russians cannot observe Ukrainian elections until the Russian Federation gives us the Crimea back and leave Donbass, will not release our captives and prisoners of war, will not take away their weapons and equipment and will not leave,” she said in a note.
Herashchenko also explained that each country is guided by its own national interests, deciding who to let into its territory and who does not.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that Elchenko said that proposals Ukraine to Russia for exchange of prisoners remain unanswered.
