The Head of the National Investment Council, Yulia Kovaliv has announced at the program «Groshi vpered!», aired at Radio NV, that Starbucks does not enter the Ukrainian market due to the fact that its production is too expensive for the average Ukrainian consumer.

«The situation with Starbucks is little more complicated. The media have reported several times that it entered the market; the mayor also said so, but later Starbucks reported they did not enter the Ukrainian market. Today there is no clear deadlines or any vision to enter the market, but if you look at the Ukrainian market, it is clear that it is not a big market for this company,» – Kovaliv said.

Note that the Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko was confident that the network of Starbucks coffee houses will appear in Ukraine.
As The Journalist reported earlier, coffee shops network Starbucks may be opened in Ukraine.
