The US companies representatives announced their readiness to increase investment in Ukraine, the Presidential press service reported.
This was announced at the meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in New York.
The meeting was attended by representatives of famous American and global companies that are already have been represented in Ukraine, or are interested in developing business in the country.
In particular, the leaders of such companies as Holtec, AT & T, IBM Corporation, Boeing International, XCoal Energy & Resources, Motorola Solutions, GE Transportation, AM General, Bunge Ltd, Cargill, Inc., Coca-cola, Pepsico, Citi bank, Greenbrier, as well as representatives of the American-Ukrainian Business Council have held talks with the President.
«Nowadays you can already see the results of reforms in Ukraine, which the business speaks about; the investment climate has significantly improved and the number of foreign direct investments is growing; in general the macroeconomic situation in our country has clear signs of stability,» – Poroshenko said.
Representatives of American business thanked Poroshenko for «the significant positive changes that the Ukrainian Government has achieved in relation to business» and noted the willingness of American companies to increase investment in Ukraine.
As The Journalist reported, Russia became the leader of investments in Ukraine in 2018.
