February 2, the enemy violated ceasefire regime eight times in Donbas. As a result of a sniper’s shot one Ukrainian soldier was seriously wounded and died. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group “Pivnich”, near Pivdenne, the militants opened fire from 120mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms.
Not far from the village of Shumy, the enemy fired targeted sniper fire towards the Ukrainian positions.
Near the Krymske, the militants opened fire from an under-barrel grenade launcher, and near the village of Zaitsevo from automatic easel grenade launchers and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group “Shid”, not far from Pavlopil, the enemy fired from automatic heavy and heavy anti-tank grenade launchers, and not far from Vodiane, in the Azov Sea, the JFO units noticed the work of an enemy sniper.
