On October 28, the militants violated the ceasefire regime 16 times in Donbas, using 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as weapon mounted on infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and other small arms. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.
In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the militants launched eight attacks on Ukrainian positions near Nivelske, two times near Hnutove, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Marjinka, and Pyshchevyk.
In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the Ukrainian fortified positions came under the enemy fire eight times, namely, five times near Zolote-4 (disengagement area), Luhanske, Popasna and Travneve.
No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
