On June 5, one member of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) was killed in Donbas, another one was injured after shelling conducted by the militants. This was reported by the press center of the JFO on Facebook.
The source reports that the occupiers violated the ceasefire regime 12 times, two times using 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
“The enemy also shelled Ukrainian fortified positions from the armament mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, automatic rifles and sniper weapons,” the message said.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian positions eight times near the settlements of Vodiane, Bohdanivka, Novotroyitske, Pishevyk, Talakivka and Novohrihoriїvka. In turn, in the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever(“North”), the enemy attacked JFO positions four times near the settlements of Stary Aidar, Krymske and Zolote.
According to the JFO HQ press center, as a result of enemy shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another one was injured.
According to the intelligence data, one occupier was killed, another four were wounded.
