On July 8, the illegal armed groups mounted 17 attacks, seven times using 122mm artillery systems, as well as 120mm and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as the press center of the Joined Forces Operation (JFO) reported.
The militants opened fire using grenade launchers of various systems, weapons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns and small arms.
The shellings were recorded near the Vodiane, Lebedynske, Marjinka, Krasnohorivka, Chermalyk, Bohdanivka, Novoluhanske, Pivdenne and Maiorske localities.
No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
