The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has launched a single state register of subsidy recipients, which will make the mechanism for obtaining subsidies more transparent and allow to effectively control the funds allocated from the state budget.
The corresponding decision was made during the meeting of the Government.
«At last it happened – we created a single national register of subsidy recipients,» – Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman said during the meeting.
The Head of the Government noted that thanks to this register, it was already possible to identify 20,000 people who have received double subsidies, which is violation of the law.
«As we see, even at the first analysis, 20,000 people received two subsidies instead of one; these are the funds belonging to those who need this protection,» – the Prime Minister said.
As The Journalist reported, Rozenko has reassured poor Ukrainians: we will help with subsidies when gas price rises.
