In oblast centers of Ukraine they installed and decorated the main attribute of the holiday – the New Year tree, reports UNIAN.
This year the highest Christmas tree in Ukraine is in Kharkiv. Its height is more than 40 meters. It is known that the cost of its installation amounted to 3.5 million hryvnias.
Vinnitsa Christmas tree this year has a height of 28 meters. From the city budget spent 839 thousand hryvnias for its installation.
The height of the capital’s Christmas tree – 27 meters. The cost of its installation is 2 million 700 thousand hryvnias.
In Lviv, a 20-meter Christmas tree is a gift from residents of Yavoriv district. Lviv residents and sponsors spent 258 thousand hryvnias for installation and decoration.
The main Christmas tree of Poltava reaches 20 meters in height. Its installation cost the city 2 million 800 thousand hryvnias.
Traditionally, the main Odessa New Year tree was installed on Dumska Street. Its height is 20 meters. This year, more than 200 thousand hryvnias were spent on the Christmas tree.
