The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not allow Russian propaganda media to cover Lima Group meeting, which was held in Ottawa on February 4, CBC News reported.

Russian agencies Sputnik, RIA-Novosti and TASS were denied to admission the event. In addition, journalists of the TeleSur channel, whose main office located in Caracas, were not allowed to the meeting.
The Russian Embassy in Ottawa issued a statement condemning this step.

“Canada should stop restricting journalists from reporting freely without obstruction or reprisal and must apply to itself the same rules and standards it demands from others to follow,” the statement said.

As The Journalist reported, a body was found beneath the wreckage of an airplane carrying Emiliano Salou.
