On Friday, January 18, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas will visit Ukraine and Russia, Zeit reports.
Maas will hold a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin, in Ukraine to discuss the situation in the east of Ukraine and the ongoing reforms in the country, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that a press conference of two ministers is scheduled between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Heiko Maas is also scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov in Moscow.
"In particular, he will discuss the future of the INF Treaty on the Elimination of Their Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles," the report says.
