Kharkiv Metro resumed its operation; although, passengers required to wear protective mask or respirator.

Metro resumed its work on Monday, May 25. The corresponding video was published by Suspilne:Kharkiv on Facebook.

Before the opening of metro, it was announced that the passengers required to wear protective masks or respirators. Appropriate announcements were placed on the entrances.

However, some eyewitnesses note that passengers without masks were spotted on station platforms. Subway workers wear masks.

“Access and movement within the metro area without wearing a respirator or a protective mask are prohibited! Remember that your life and the health of other passengers depends on you,” the subway announcement reads.
