The City Council has increased monthly personal scholarship for outstanding achievements in studies from UAH 300 to UAH 1 thousand for the Kyivan students.
The decision to amend the Regulations on Personal Scholarships of the Kyiv City Council in the field of education, approved in 2012, was supported by the majority of the deputy corps at the Council meeting.
Such scholarships are paid to 100 pupils, winners of educational all-Ukrainian and city contests and olympiads during the academic year (from Sept 1 to June 30).
Thus, the annual cash award for one student will be not UAH 3 thousand, but UAH 10 thousand.
Due to the Regulation on Scholarships, the selection of applicants will be carried out according to the rating system by voting of the members of the competitive commission, taking into account the achievements of the students.
