The head of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA), Vitaliy Klitschko, has asked the National Anti-corruption Bureau to open criminal proceedings upon a statement made by the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Bohdan. Klitschko wrote about this on his Facebook page.

The Mayor wants investigators to verify Bogdan’s statement about someone tried to offer him a USD 20 million bribe in exchange for not touching the mayor of the capital.

Klitschko emphasized that he did not authorize anyone to conduct such ‘negotiations!’

“And such statements by Mr. Bogdan, who is in charge of the Presidential Office, are subject to a pretrial probe as they may indicate the commission of criminal offenses,” Klitschko said.

As The Journalist reported earlier, Ukraine’s Cabinet to consider Klitschko’s dismissal from post of KCSA head at the next meeting.
