The second president of Ukraine and one of the signatories of Minsk agreements, Leonyd Kuchma, resigned as the plenipotentiary representative of Ukraine in contact group for the settlement of conflict in Donbass.

«Leonyd Danylovych decided to leave this post», agency TASS quotes representative of Kuchma Foundation.

At the same time, according to Interfax, the decision to leave contact group Leonyd Kuchma took a long time, but he planned to do it after reaching critical age.

«For myself, I made a decision for a long time already, when I reach my critical age, I will have to thank everyone who worked with me there, and leave, give me an opportunity to work for others», Leonyd Kuchma said.

Note that at the moment he works in a contact group on a voluntary basis for more than 4 years.
