Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has had a phone conversation with Wang Yi, a member of the State Council and Chinese Foreign Minister, during which he thanked the Chinese government for humanitarian assistance to fight against COVID-19. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
“Ukraine is interested in developing a strategic partnership with China. You and I – we have all opportunities to fill it with ambitious projects that will lead to a meeting of the leaders of our states,” Kuleba said.
Wang Yi reaffirmed his readiness to develop and to strengthen strategic partnership with Ukraine in the context of the China’s “One Belt One Road” initiative.
He also accepted Dmytro Kuleba’s invitation to visit Ukraine and invited him to visit Beijing.
