Kyiv City Council made Trukhaniv Island in the list of landscape reserves of local significance. This is reported by the press service of the Kyiv city state administration.
In the KSCA on May 16, it was decided to declare the territory of Trukhaniv Island and Mizhmostny Island to be a landscape reserve of local significance, the area of which is approximately 27.44 hectares.
Thus, island flora and fauna will be preserved on Trukhaniv Island, and also this territory will be protected from unscrupulous developers.
