Kyiv court postponed consideration of appeal against Yanukovych’s sentence for a month

The Kyiv Court of Appeal began consideration of the appeal against the sentence to former president Viktor Yanukovych, Ukrinform reports.

A court session, at which reportedly six appeals had been received was held at 10:10 am on June 13. The Yanukovych’s defense previously stated that they had filed five appeals against the sentence.

It is noted that the court appointed a reserve judge to consider the appeal, in this connection the case was postponed until July 15 (at 11:00 am).

In addition, the court determined the date for the appeal to be considered on July 22. 

As The Journalist reported, Kyiv court will consider appeal against Yanukovych’s sentence on June 13.
