Kyiv launches Vinohradar – Akademmistechko experimental bus route

Starting from October 20, the experimental bus route No.102-A will run from Svoboda Avenue to the Akademmistechko metro station, the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the KCSA reports.

The mayor’s office noted that the experiment will last until November 20 to study passenger demand. Currently there is no direct transport connection between Vinohradar residential area and the Akademmistechko metro station.

“Therefore, this experimental route was launched. It will run from Svoboda Avenue to the Akademmistechko metro station at intervals during peak hours – 12 minutes and at intervals between peak times – 15 minutes. If the route will be in demand, it will be left to operate in a permanent mode,” the message reads.

Bus route 102-A starts from Svobody Avenue (Svetlytskogo st.) – Vasyl Porik st. – Pravdy st. – Gazoprovidnytska st. – Stetsenko st. – Berkovetska st. – Academician Palladin st. – Akademmistechko metro station.
