The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reports 270 new coronavirus cases in the capital over past day:
“The coronavirus is not retreating. Over the past day, 270 patients were reported in Kyiv, including 33 children. Seven people have died. In total, the coronavirus claimed 325 lives of Kyiv citizens. As of today, there are already 20,028 confirmed coronavirus cases in the capital.”
Among those who were infected on previous day are:
• 136 women aged 19 to 85;
• 111 men aged 18 to 85;
• 11 girls aged from 2 to 16 and 22 boys aged from 7 months to 16 years old.
Daily figure also includes 8 health workers.
Some 52 patients were hospitalized. The rest are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
Over the past day, 61 people have recovered. In total, 5,929 residents of the capital recovered.
The highest number of new cases were reported in Desnyanskyi district (43), Darnytskyi district (39), Dniprovskyi district (38).
