The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reported 88 new coronavirus cases over the past day.
“The number of coronavirus patients in Kyiv has increased by 88 over the past day. One person died. In total, coronavirus claimed 155 lives of Kyiv residents. To date, there are already 10,730 confirmed coronavirus cases in Kyiv,” Klitschko wrote.
Among those who got infected on previous day are:
• 47 women aged 18 to 70;
• 35 men aged 20 to 79;
• two girls – 11 and 14 years old, as well as five boys aged from 5 to 17.
This figure also includes four health workers.
Some 8 patients were hospitalized. The rest are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
In total, 75 Kyiv residents have recovered over the past day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,555.
The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Darnytskiy district (17), in Holosiivskiy district (13), in Sviatoshynskiy and Dniprovskiy districts (11 each).
