The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov has said that the farmland market in Ukraine should be open in the fall of 2020.

“Today, we considered that the so-called land market will be open in autumn 2020. If the entire state machine will work up to this date, and we will see that somewhere there are gaps that cannot be solved, then, I think, the parliament will take appropriate decisions,” Razumkov said at the Freedom of Speech panel show.

According to him, political will, cooperation between the various power lines, the parliamentary majority and the opposition is needed to resolve “farmland” issue.

On November 13, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill “On amending certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine concerning the turnover of agricultural land”, recommended by the relevant committee, which introduces the land market in Ukraine from October 1, 2020.

As The Journalist reported, Razumkov told about farmland market in Ukraine.
