Wizz Air and Ryanair will fly from Greece to Ukraine

The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority has approved applications from Wizz Air and Ryanair lowcost airlines to repform flights to Ukraine, avianews.com reports.

Wizz Air was allowed to start flying on Airbus A320 with a frequency of up to two flights Athens-Kyiv and Thessaloniki-Kyiv per week from March 31, 2019. In addition, Ryanair was allowed to start flights on Boeing 737-800 on the Athens-Kyiv route twice a week from April 2, 2019.
Greek company Astra Airlines was allowed to fly between Athens and Kyiv on BAe 146 aircraft twice a week from March 31, 2019.
As of today, among three airlines only Ryanair started selling tickets to Kyiv.
