Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko said that he personally sanctioned two cases of wiretapping of employees by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP), among them SAP head Nazar Kholodnitskiy.
This Lutsenko said after the meeting of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, reports Unian.
«Both cases of listening to SAP workers were authorized by General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine, personally,» said Lutsenko.
«When Sytnik assured that he has certain materials about possible corruption or the head of SAP, or a worker of SAP, I essentially put a signature, allowing him (Sytnik) to prove it legally, including through audition», prosecutor general added.
As reported by The Journalist the Prosecutor General’s Office buys a mobile home for protection.
