French President Emmanuel Macron told Jewish community leaders at the annual meeting of the Council of Jewish Communities of France (CRIF) that Antisemitism appears to have reached its worst levels since the Second World War. This was reported by Radio Liberty.

“It seems that our country and other parts of Europe had in recent years seen a resurgence of antisemitism that is probably unprecedented since the Second World War,” noted Macron.

In addition, Macron said that France will adopt the definition of anti-Semitism, developed by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.

As The Journalist reported, anti-Semitism took place in France, as well as that in France at the Jewish cemetery, vandals painted 80 graves of graffiti depicting the Nazi swastika.
