Ukrainian delegation led by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova began a working visit to Qatar, during which they met with representatives of the Commercial Bank and discussed the progress of Ukraine in implementing the reforms. During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to reforming the state banking sector and introducing corporate governance, and noted that "Ukraine and Qatar can successfully cooperate in implementing infrastructure and IT projects."
Also, the Ukrainian delegation will meet with the executive director of Qatar Stock Exchange to exchange experiences. Meetings will be held with the leadership of National Bank of Qatar, representatives of Qatari sovereign investment fund, and Minister of Finance of Qatar, who will discuss economic development trends and investment opportunities in Ukraine.
