Memorial plaque to Heavenly Hundred Heroes, victims of Russian aggression in Ukraine unveiled in Poland

A memorial plaque to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and fallen soldiers, volunteers, and victims of Russian aggression was unveiled on the building of the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw, Poland on August 24 –  the Independence Day of Ukraine.

This was reported on the embassy’s Facebook page.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andriy Deshchitsa thanked the creative team of the Lviv National Academy of Arts, who created the memorial plaque.

The grand opening was attended by the Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland Urszula Ślązak, Deputy Director of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Tomasz Orlowsky, Ukrainian and Polish diplomats as well as representatives of the Ukrainian community.
