Militants shelled area near Shumy settlement

The militants shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the village of Shumy, where a meeting of JCCC and the OSCE representatives was to take place today.

This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces operation.

“Such enemy actions indicate that the enemy deliberately and purposefully not only violate agreements, but also openly provokes the Ukrainian side. But Ukraine once again demonstrates its sincere desire to establish peace, but the enemy deliberately thwarts any attempts,” the message reads.

Thanks to the efficiency of the Ukrainian intelligence officers, it was possible to predict the enemy actions.

“Therefore, we quickly managed to secure not only the military personnel of the Joint Forces, but also the JCCC and the OSCE representatives,” the statement reads.
