Since the beginning of the current day, the enemy instigated seven armed provocations in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. The militants shelled Pisky settlement using anti-tank guided missiles, the Ministry of Defense reported at a briefing.
The settlements Pisky, Maryinka, Hnutove, Vodyane and Novotroitske came under the enemy fire. Most tense situation was recorded in the area of the village of Pisky, where the enemy three times resorted to anti-tank guided missiles and 82mm mortars.
Also the settlement of Vodyane came under quite powerful enemy fire: at 7:00 am in the morning the occupiers fired 49 shells of 122mm barreled artillery.
In most cases, the occupying troops fired from various types of grenade launchers and small arms, including heavy machine guns.
As The Journalist reported, the names of eight JFO members captured on May 22 became known.
