On September 2, the militants fired Ukrainian army positions near the village of Vodiane. The enemy attack last for 40 minutes, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation reported.
The occupiers opened fire from the positions located at the Uzhivka village. They used six 82mm mortars shells and 18 120mm mortars shells.
Joint Centre for Control and Coordination notes that such actions by the enemy testify to the targeted actions aimed at further exacerbating of the situation, unwillingness to comply with the ceasefire and deliberate failure to comply with the Minsk agreements.
