Militants use prohibited mines in Donbas

The militants violated the ceasefire three times over the past day in Donbas with no Ukrainian servicemen reported as injured. This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation on Facebook.

“On December 2, silence regime was observed in most areas of responsibility of Ukrainian units. At the same time, three enemy ceasefire violations were recorded near Vodiane. There the enemy opened fire from an automatic grenade launcher and small arms. In addition, in the same sector, the enemy carried out remote mining of the positions of our troops, using several prohibited POM-2 mines. There were no combat losses or injuries among the Ukrainian defenders,” the message says.
