During the coronavirus pandemic period, private laboratories in Ukraine conducted 3,900y PCR tests to detect coronavirus. This was announced by Minister of Health Maksym Stepaniv during his briefing held on April 21.
“During the epidemic, private laboratories conducted 3,900 PCR tests, including 198 which were tested positive. All of them were made on a commercial basis,” Stepaniv said.
He added that the Ministry of Health obliged all private laboratories to report all identified Covid-19 cases, that is, any concealment of the PCR testing results is unacceptable.
